In charge of the Chapar police station (SHO) of Muzaffarnagar district of UP has been suspended on the charge of racist comments on the ruling BJP’s dalit legislator. It is alleged that the SHO order Tyagi made this alleged remark during the debate with the supporters of the MLA.
Actually, the police officer seized his car if he did not have the proper papers. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anant Dev Tiwari said that the complaint was made against Chapar’s in-charge, after which he has been suspended last night.
Tiwari said that departmental inquiry against SHO has been started under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohammad Rizwan. Earlier, on Thursday, SHRI Girish Chand Sharma of Charhatawal police station was also suspended.
Sharma had filed a case against several workers of both parties after the confrontation between the BJP and the workers of the Indian Farmer Union. BJP workers with MP Sanjeev Ballyan met senior police officials and expressed their opposition. After this, Sharma was suspended.
